EFPD SAR K-9 Assists Joplin
Eureka Fire District Firefighters and K-9 Unit have been deployed to assist with Search & Rescue in Joplin following the F-5 Tornado that hit that town Sunday evening, May 22, 2011.
Eureka Search & Rescue K-9 unit sent 4 dog handlers and dogs to search the debris in Joplin. The K-9 Unit deployed early Monday morning. The team then deployed a second time on Thursday, May 26 for a 48 hour search assingment.
