Community Emergency Response Team
Community Emergency Response Teams (C.E.R.T.) are made up of volunteers that have completed a course of study outlined by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). These volunteers will then help public safety organizations within the community if a disaster strikes and local public safety agencies such as fire and police departments are overwhelmed.
Eureka CERT is a proud member of the St. Louis Regional CERT Association. The Association is made up of area Fire & Police Departments, Emergency Management Agencies, and 911 Center. We share our trainings with our Association partners and offer a wide range of programs throughout our group that are open to all CERT members.
To date, over 500 people have completed the 22-hour training program through Eureka Emergency Management.

Eureka Emergency Management is a coordinated effort of the City of Eureka, Eureka Police Department, and Eureka Fire Protection District.
