Community Emergency Response Team
Community Emergency Response Teams (C.E.R.T.) are made up of volunteers that have completed a course of study outlined by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). These volunteers would then help public safety organizations within the community if a disaster strikes and local public safety agencies such as fire and police departments are overwhelmed.
Eureka Emergency Management, which is comprised of the City of Eureka, the Eureka Police Department, and the Eureka Fire Protection District, graduated it’s eighth training class recently. To date, over 100 people have completed the 22 hour, 8 week training program through Eureka Emergency Management.
Anyone interested in taking this free training can register for the class by,
contacting Eureka Police Department at 636-938-6600. Classes are open to anyone interested.
Eureka Emergency Management is a coordinated effort of the City of Eureka, Eureka Police Department, and Eureka Fire Protection District.
2008 CERT Classes
All CERT Classes start at 7:00pm and run until 9:30pm each night. Classes will meet at the Eureka Fire Protection District Training Center unless other wise noted.

CERT T-Shirts Available
T-Shirts are available for CERT Members and IN STOCK at Eureka Fire Protection District Engine House One. Sizes available include Medium, Large, X-Large, and XX-Large. They are priced at $11.00, Cash or Check only.
