The Technical Services Division encompasses the Fire Prevention Bureau, Fire Marshal's Office, Public Education, and Public Relations services within the Eureka Fire Protection District.
Fire Prevention Bureau & Fire Marshal's Office
The Fire Prevention Bureau is headed up by Assistant Fire Marshal Chris Gaut. There are many tasks assigned to personnel within Fire Prevention including New Construction Plan Review, Inspections, Semi Annual Commercial Fire Safety Inspections, Home Fire Safety Inspections, Fire Investigation, and Juvenile Fire Setters Program. We can also provide information and can assist with Natural Gas Emergencies, Carbon Monoxide Detectors, and Smoke Detectors.
