Technical Services Division
The Technical Services Division encompasses the Fire Prevention Bureau, Fire Marshal's Office, Public Education, and Public Relations services within the Eureka Fire Protection District.
Fire Marshal's Office
Deputy Chief Rich Pallarito serves as the district's Fire Marshal. The Fire Marshal's office is responsible for Construction Plan Review and Commercial Fire Safety Inspections. When fires occur in the district the Fire Marshals Office is also tasked with cause and origin determination of the fire.
Fire Prevention Bureau
The Fire Prevention Bureau conducts Fire Safety Inspections, oversees the Junior Firefighter Program and provides fire safety talks at area schools and businesses. They can also provide information and can assist with Natural Gas Emergencies, Carbon Monoxide Detectors, and Smoke Detectors.
Community Services
The Eureka Fire Protection District offers many different services other than firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services. These community education and fire safety services are an integral part of our mission to you, our residents.
